Prehab: (Pre-operative physiotherapy)

Are you waiting for Orthopaedic Surgery such as hip or knee replacement?

Prehab is the start of your rehabilitation before the surgery has even happened. By preparing your body, so that you are as strong and mobile as possible before undergoing surgery, you're likely to recover quicker and increase the likely success of the surgery. There is a lot you can do to prepare fully for surgery and your physiotherapist can develop and monitor a specific exercise programme for you to follow. 

Post Operative Physiotherapy:

If you're recovering from surgery, it can take a lot longer and a be harder process then you might anticipate.
